Cult romance of the 90s 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' launched a number of new faces in the film industry of which some became later big stars in their own right.

It was director Aditya Chopra's first film. He had assisted his father Yash Chopra in the past and made his directorial debut with DDLJ. The filmmaker now runs YRF and has directed films like 'Mohabbatien' and 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi'.
